At U‑BIS, we don’t just teach students to follow instructions — we empower them to lead their own learning. That’s why our project-based learning model, My Little Projects (MLP), lives and breathes inside our five Signature Studios.
Each term (for KS2) or year (for KS3), students choose a Studio aligned with their interests — and then design their own project within it.
With the support of a studio teaching team, students research, create, experiment, present, and reflect — all while developing critical life skills.
Signature Studios are the spaces. MLP is the journey. Together, they transform education into ownership.

🔧 Build Lab
“Sketch it. Build it. Bring it to life.”
Students bring ideas to life through physical invention. From cardboard prototypes to wooden machines, they solve problems with their hands — and a whole lot of imagination.
💻 Code & Innovate Studio
“Code it. Play it. Solve real problems.”
This is where tech meets creativity. Students explore coding, robotics, game design, and AI tools to create projects that are as smart as they are meaningful.
🔬 Explore & Experiment Studio
“Dig. Test. Discover the wild side of science.”
For curious minds who love to ask “why.” Students design real-world investigations — from water filters and eco-gardens to food science and data collection.
🎶 Story & Sound Studio
“Write it. Play it. Share it loud.”
A space for artists, writers, musicians, and performers. Students tell stories through books, films, performances, and original music — learning to express what matters to them.
🏃♀️ Move & Motivate Studio
“Move minds. Spark change. Lead with heart.” Designed for action-oriented learners. From school campaigns to health events and leadership projects, students learn to create impact — and bring others along with them.
